MARGARITA
Born on the Mexico-US border in the late 1930s, the margarita’s creation is wrapped in competing legends. The most credible story traces it to Tijuana in 1938, when restaurant owner Danny Herrera crafted it for a dancer who could only drink tequila but disliked its taste. By cleverly rearranging the elements of a traditional tequila shot (salt, lime, tequila), he created cocktail history.

- 0.5oz Blood orange juice
- Dehydrated blood orange wheel
- Smoked salt rim
Rim half the glass with smoked salt. Combine all liquid ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake vigorously for 15 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with dehydrated blood orange wheel.
